James Island

The Sunday Brunch Farmers Market brings the community of James Island together every Sunday, year-round from 11AM to 3PM. The market features vendors that include local farmers, makers and artisans, with live music, delicious eats and all kinds of amazing local goods and goodies! As the only weekly market hosted on James Island, hundreds gather every week to socialize and support their local small businesses. With vendors offering apparel, jewelry, fantastic food, candles, pet care, home goods, CBD products, – you name it!- the James Island Market truly does have something for everyone!

The Sunday Brunch Farmers Market is also both kid and pet friendly, making it an activity in nature for the entire family to enjoy! Willie’s Roadside Market at Boone Hall Farms makes a serious dedication to freshness. As a plantation that has been active for over 3 centuries, they’ve had plenty of time to perfect their craft. Approximately 120 acres of the plantation is used to grow a wide variety of fresh local produce throughout the spring, summer, and fall, to bring you nutritious fruits and veggies grown right here in the Lowcountry. Visit the market Monday through Saturday between 10AM and 5PM and see for yourself. The Roadside market is popular among schools and large groups and offers group tours all year round. In addition to tours, they host events to bring the community together, such as the Lowcountry Strawberry Festival, Boone Hall Pumpkin Patch, Christmas Tree Festival, Wine Under the Oaks, and a Black History Month Celebration, to acknowledge the history behind the foundations of the plantation.

Every Tuesday from April to September from 3 – 7PM you can do just that at Mount Pleasant Farmers Market! With a large variety of fresh produce, you have the chance to purchase from the very best farmers in Charleston! With a smaller scene, you can actually talk to the people who grow your food, get to know them, and show your appreciation for those in the Lowcountry that have perfected the craft of agriculture. Each week, the venue also hosts live bands so you can enjoy music while supporting local farmers!

North Charleston

The North Charleston Farmers Market offers an abundance of fresh, locally grown SC Certified produce, specialty foods, and art and craft vendors. With a smaller venue, visitors have the opportunity to connect with local growers and understand where the food they eat comes from! The weekly event also features a rotating schedule of food trucks, kid’s activities, and live musical entertainment. The Holy City Farmers Market, located just North of downtown Charleston, is a rusting community gathering place that showcases only the best of local agriculture and artisanal goods. This free event is hosted every Sunday from February to December from 11AM to 3PM. Shop from local vendors, whether you’re looking for a gift, a new piece to your home, fresh produce, or delicious eats! At the market, you can also find some top-tier Holy City brew, allowing you to unwind with a drink with friends and family while engaging with the Charleston community. The market changes for each holiday season, making it a great way to get festive for Valentine’s Day, Saint Patrick’s Day, Independance Day, Christmas, and more! West Ashley

The West Ashley Farmers Market is dedicated to the support and advocacy of local farmers and growers and features fresh seasonal produce, as well as sweet and savory foods from area vendors who source ingredients from nearby farms.  The markets program of live entertainment, rotating food trucks and family-friendly activities will enhance the farmers’ market experience for visitors, whether locals or tourists. The market is held from April to October, Wednesdays, from 3-7PM and takes place in Ackerman Park. Ackerman Park is a popular and easily accessible city-owned Park that includes a separate fenced in dog park and skate park near the corner of Sycamore Avenue and St. Andrews Boulevard.
